Frequently Asked Questions – Medical Aesthetics with Dr. Chen Shevel
Who are aesthetic treatments suitable for?
Our treatments are ideal for women and men who wish to enhance their facial appearance in a subtle, natural, and non-invasive way—without drastically changing their features, but rather refining and refreshing them.
Are treatments suitable for first-time clients?
Absolutely. Many of our patients are new to aesthetic treatments. We always begin with a personalized, gradual approach, ensuring you're comfortable and supported every step of the way.
What’s the difference between Botox and fillers?
Botox temporarily relaxes muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles (like frown lines), while fillers—most often made from hyaluronic acid—add volume to areas that have thinned or require subtle enhancement.
How long do the results last?
Botox: 3 to 6 months Hyaluronic acid fillers: 6 to 12 months (depending on area and individual skin type) Biostimulators: Up to 2 years
When will I see the results?
Botox: Visible within 3–7 days
Fillers: Immediate, with continued improvement over a few days
Biostimulators: Gradual results that develop over several weeks
Are the treatments painful?
Most treatments involve only mild discomfort, often described as a small stinging sensation. If needed, topical anesthetics are used to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
In most cases, no downtime is required. Some patients may experience mild redness or swelling, which typically resolves within 24–48 hours.
Can multiple treatments be done in one session?
Yes, definitely. Treatments are often combined—such as Botox with fillers or skin boosters—based on your unique needs and the professional assessment of Dr. Shevel.
Can I undergo treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. For safety reasons, we do not perform aesthetic treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
At what age should I start treatment?
There’s no specific age to begin. Many people start gentle, preventive treatments in their early 30s, but the right time depends on your skin, goals, and preferences.
What does a consultation session include?
Your consultation includes a personal introduction, a full medical questionnaire, a professional facial assessment, development of a tailored treatment plan, and a clear discussion of expectations.
Is there parking at the clinic?
Yes. The clinic is located in Renanim Mall, which offers plenty of free, convenient parking.
What’s the fastest way to get in touch?
You can reach us via WhatsApp, the contact form on our website, or by phone—whichever is most convenient for you. We’re available and always respond promptly.
